 TJM CEO Jack Marsh was born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio.  He attended Taft High School (now Hamilton High), Taylor University (Upland, IN), and United Theological Seminary (Dayton, OH).  He was ordained in the United Methodist Church as a Deacon in 1976 and an Elder in 1980.  Jack served at Centenary UMC, in Ripley, OH, Monfort Heights UMC (Associate), Cincinnati, OH, Manchester (OH) UMC, College Hill UMC, Cincinnati and Elizabethtown (OH) UMC.  Since August 2010 he has also been serving as the pastor of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church in Madison Township Ohio. 

In 1988, Jack became the Associate Director for Justice Chaplaincies at the Council of Christian Communions of Greater Cincinnati. In 2007, Jack and a small group formed Transforming Jail Ministries with the intent of focusing on jails and helping to improve jail ministry. Jack's passions are building relationships and training.  He teaches chaplaincy and listening skills.  Jack has been married to Marcia for 36 years.  They have one daughter, Jennifer and one dog, Peanut.  This is a rare picture of him in a tie.

Upon hearing that 85% to 95% of incarcerated women had been sexually abused as children, Marjeane joined the Women's Aglow Worship Team and is now very pleased to join the TJM administrative team serving you. Previously serving the homeless with Transformation Cincinnati/NKY for ten years and the aged since she was 16, she now leads a nursing home ministry which began in 1976. She lives on 2 acres in Fairfield with her 94 and 95 year old parents, their Airedale Terrier named Zip, and three cats. Graduating cum laude from Miami with her bachelors in elementary education and her masters in guidance and counseling, she taught for 6 years , substitute taught, became a  realtor, successfully completed her insurance license, worked for years in hospitality, worked recently as an office manager, has owned her own business as an organizer helping people in both residential and business settings, served many churches with worship, and has lived in Arizona, California, and Hawaii.

Marjeane heard her mission statement at a Hamilton prayer meeting: "Gather My defenseless downtrodden to you and help them to draw close to Me so they become whole and able to bring Me praise, honor, and glory." With a compassionate heart and willing hands, she is here to serve Jesus by serving us.
